Summer Fun

This past week has been non stop fun! In the summer you've gotta make sure you keep your kids busy and that's exactly what I've tried to do....all the way down to Boomer! 

We've been takin our lil guy to his favorite dog park and gettin him exhausted which makes my life soo much easier. He's met some doggy friends and I'm just glad he's stayin just as busy as the kids and I are. We love him!

Every summer Teki's company throws out fun incentives/contests for the wives to keep us busy and have a lil fun! This year we had to pick a service project! We chose to make goody bags for kids in the hospital. It felt amazing to do such a small lil thing and give back!! We had Chipotle's provided for us and put together some real fun stuff. We had to take pics of it all and send it in so they could post our pics for the company to see.

Took the kids to Chuck E Cheese to wear them out. One thing about the summer is I'm always tryin to find cheap fun things to do! Or any coupons & discounts for anything....I'll take it! Shizz gets expensive with 3 kids!!!! So took advantage of some coupons for Chuck E Cheese and stayed there for a few hours. 

This past week was July 4th and every year for the past 6 years the kids & I have spent it without Teki. This year was no exception....I try to make it crazy fun for the kids cause they're always bummed that Teki's not with us. This year we bbq'd with our friend and her daughter and took the kids to the pool. After we got cleaned up and headed to this really fun Water way place by the mall. They had an amazing firework show!!!! After we headed home, Teki surprised us by comin home a lil early and had bought a huge box of fireworks for the kids. It was around 11:30pm by the time we met up with some of our techs and had another lil mini show! The kids had a blast!!!!

Good ol Texas.....

This past week was pretty fun venturing out to Houston & The Woodlands.

We had a birthday, my big guy Tyson turned 7yrs old....where the heck has time gone?! He's a great kid and always following Teki everywhere tryna help him with everything. He's definitely gonna be just like his dad. 

Sunday we celebrated early being that Teki's only day off is Sundays...we took the kids to a fun family place and went laser tagging & camped in the arcade for a couple of hours. Forgot how fun air hockey was! 

Monday we asked Tyson where he wanted to go...to my surprise he simply chose Cici's Pizza! Easy peasy to my relief! Hunter & Lala would've been a different story. Came home and had cake. 

Tyson's been goin to work with Teki these past couple of weeks makin his own money so he can buy himself some Heely's??? I think that's how you spell em...anyway he's been drilling Vivint signs together and selling them to Teki's techs for 25 cents each. I'm so proud of him for understanding that you have to work in order to get things. Earn it. Lala switches off sometimes too and goes....her first day she made $8 and of course like a true girl she asked me to take her to Target where she bought her first pack of glue on nails....lol! Smh....you can bet Teki was NOT happy when he seen her nails. What do you expect....she's a girl! 

Thursday I took the kids to the Children's Museum and it was soo fun! $5 for all day playing with a whole crap load of different stuff....yep, we in there fasho!! Met up with another wife named Vanessa and her daughter Cadence who is adorable. Went to an amazing Mexican restaurant that was in the same plaza and had a great time at lunch. My shrimp tacos was the best I've ever had! And I've tried a lot....needless to say last wk was great! Taking the kids to a splash pad, blueberry pickin & maybe another museum this coming wk. 

Keeping my brood busy during this summer is my main goal! It'll guarantee my sanity!!!!

Life is Grand.

Crazy how time flies by so fast....life gets super busy and you hardly realize it until things somewhat slow down. 

Life is great, we're all healthy (some of us a lil over healthy, hehe), kids are growin so much and we've added a new addition to our lil family by the name of Boomer! He's the cutest lil pup I've ever laid eyes on. 

We still live in Florida and we love it!!! The humidity and all.

As of right now Teki is workin in Houston, Texas and work is goin awesome for him and his techs. Much to be grateful for. The kids & I drove up this past Fri to Houston and after 9 wks of not see my honey we were crazy happy!! He's workin so hard and I'm so proud of him.

We'll be here for about 6 wks so much to do and explore in this great city of Houston.
