Let's get updated right quick.....

HOLY MOLY...this summer has been one adventure after another!! All in all its been GREAT!!
So as of right now we are living in Washington DC and its sooo good to be back. I must say this place has grown on me a whole lot...so much that we "considered" moving here!! Haha or you could call it dreaming cuz I don't think I could do it permanently but it was great thinking about it!!

So Hunter is back in Salt Lake with my mother in law and I miss him terribly but we will see him very soon. His 1st tooth has came in. My sis in law took him to his 8 month appt and fatty boy is weighing in @ 27lbs and 29' long. Yep, fat and short is how he's lookin right about now. I cannot wait to see him and hug and kiss him!!

Baltimore was AWESOME!!
so awesome that we went back again to visit. It's pretty cool because we're only 45 mins away. Last Sunday Teki and I took Lala and Tyson to the National Aquarium of Baltimore. It was AHHHMAZING!!
Seriously, if you are ever in Baltimore...I highly recommend this place to visit!!
I purchased our tickets the week before and I could not wait to go.
We packed a great lunch and caught the earliest dolphin show (which btw was the highlight of our trip), then walked around the huuuge aquarium until our 4D showing came around. This was SOOO FUN!! I couldnt even tell you enough. On top of seeing things much closer and through 3D vision your also FEELING things and getting sprayed. Ugh wish everyone could experience that.









Since the aquarium is at the Inner Harbor we decided to take the kids on a Paddle Boat ride. We were given a little boat shaped like a dragon and we just paddle it anywhere @ the harbor for 30 mins. Lala being the prissy girl she is was terrified to sit in the back with just her and Tyson so I had to sit with her while Teki paddled all by himself. haha it was a funny sight but we all enjoyed it.
Anyways after a long day of fun we ended the night at our Sunday evening spot..."COLDSTONES"!! Man I {HEART} THAT PLACE!! =)

6 months already....

I just can't believe Hunter is 6 months already...where does the time go? It's great that he's growing and all, I just get sad when I think of him being my last baby! But I know we have other options so it's not too bad to think about. I thought it would be nice to share 6 fun facts about him thus far...


1) Hunter is sitting up on his own very well
2) Scooting everywhere and anywhere. He loves to get on his knees but doesn't quite move on them yet...
3) Eats non-stop!!
4) LOVES to play with everyone. He also laughs extremely loud!
5) Scratches at our faces when Teki & I are still knocked out and he's up
6) Favorite baby food for the moment is squash & bananas.

He is so fun to have. He's half way to the big 1yr mark and it seems like it's gone by too fast. But I am just so grateful to have him. He's such a great baby and he hardly cries unless he's of course hungry or exhausted. I love him too much!!

4th of July weekend

This 4th of July was a nice one. The guys finished up early so we were able to do a little something. I honestly was not feeling up to going anywhere but when Teki came home he insisted that we go somewhere...anywhere! I didn't even make plans to go anywhere like I normally do each year. For some odd reason I just felt like staying home and relaxing...that's not too common for us now days!

After 10 minutes of Teki badgering me...I gave in!! It didn't help when he got the kids all worked up and ready to go..I was totally outnumbered!
Thinking back...I'm happy I ended up going. We drove down to this shopping center that was 2 miles from home and parked our car in the lot so we could get out and walk to the side of the street where everyone else was. It wasn't crazy crowded but there were lots of people. Watched a 15 minute display of fireworks then walked over to Target to grab a few things. It was perfect timing being that tons of people were trying to leave the shopping center all at once...No thanks to that!

Sunday I got up pretty early...boy did I have a busy morning. Aside from getting clothes ready, packing our cooler, doing laundry & getting breakfast served the plan was to drive down to DC zoo and spend the day over there.
We headed down there by 1pm. Jo & King also came with us so it was nice to have a family outing all together. We all went last year as well..except I was prego with Hunter and swollen as EVER!! But it was nice to have Hunter be able to see the zoo himself. After walking around and snacking for a couple of hours the zoo was closing so we decided to leave and find a park to have a late lunch at.

We found this awesome little park maybe about 3 miles from the zoo. It was sooo much fun!! Jo & I prepared the food and we all ate. There were 2 playgrounds on both sides of the picnic table we were sitting at so the kids were running to whichever one. After watching Teki & King play with the kids for a while Jo & I decided to join in! There was this swirly thing that you sit on and it actually went pretty darn fast! But after Teki got me really really dizzy on that thing I was done. I totally felt like a kid again. It was too funny!

Afterwards we headed home. DC is only 45 minutes away from us so its a nice little drive. The best thing about visiting DC is passing the DC temple on the freeway!! We were lucky enough to live in DC last year for almost 2 months so it was really nice to be back. Once we got home we decided to end our day with a movie and popcorn. I told Lala & Tyson to choose a movie, to my surprise they BOTH agreed on Bambi. I use to LOVE that movie. Anyways, hope everyone had a great 4th as well!!

Rain....Rain...Go Away!!

Last week it rained just about every day and I really felt bad for the kids because usually we'll walk somewhere or just play outside. So after I got off of work I went home with the kids, put on a movie for them thinking they'd be fine and started on dinner....only to see this...



I felt soo bad...so I LITERALLY threw dinner on the back burner and told Lala & Ty to come in the kitchen.
I remembered we had this pizza making kit thingy that Tyson grabbed off the shelf from the store awhile ago...It really seemed too complicated to make so it was sitting in my pantry for a few weeks....but it was the perfect time to pull it out.
It was so much FUN!!
Lala & Tyson were so excited...I had to mix the dough first and let it sit for awhile...during that time Tyson decided to knock out on us...so it ended up being just Lala & I.
I'm pretty sure Tyson was exhausted from watching the lightning and thunder from the window. Him and Lala love to do that. I'm glad their not scared of it anymore. Anyways it was great to be able to do something with them indoors. I just hope this rain goes away soon! I swear it's summer time.

I asked Lala how was her pizza and she said "Oh it was thelicious cause I made it myself!"

I almost can't believe it's been 4 years since my beautiful little girl was born. At 9lbs 6oz and 21 inches long..I knew I would be in for it with this one!! I cannot begin to tell you what a blessing she is...and continues to be. She's a very intelligent, caring, loving, talkative, hyper 4yr old girl. She's very very prissy though!! Loooves loves dresses, doing her hair, baby dolls, getting manicures & pedicures with me, talking with her other girl cousins on the phone...ugh I could go on and on..but I'm quite sure you all know what I mean. She's just a total GIRL! So this year I asked Lala what she wanted to do for her birthday and with no kind of hesitation she simply said TEA PARTY!! I was soo relieved when I heard this. Sadly enough we weren't able to celebrate with all of her cousins being that we're out here in Baltimore...BUT we still had a great deal of fun!!

Lala has actually spent her last 3 birthdays away from most of our family just because we move out of state every summer..but this year was awesome because my mother in law was able to be here! We purposely flew her down to bring Hunter the day before Lala's birthday which was Friday. Lala was soo excited! It was cute.
Anyways Josey and I set up the tea set and put out all kinds of treats, candy and toys. Poor Tyson was the only boy! I think he was getting sick of the girls because he started ripping their things after a while...but he had tons of fun. So after their tea party they decorated their own cupcakes with whatever candy and toppings they wanted then ate pizza and ran around tearing up my house. All in all it was a very fun night!! Wonder what she'll want to do next year....

OK...I'M BACK!!

Wow! Ya, Ok..I know I've disappeared..But Hey! I'm back. I sure love blogging about events that happened in March..in APRIL!! Sheesh. Where do I begin?! Well first things first..We've moved down to Baltimore (Woohoo) and we're almost settled in. Teki, myself, Lala & Ty drove down. We actually left Hunter behind with my mother in law due to the fact that I would totally lose my mind if I had all 3 kids on the road with us!! Thank goodness for dvd players though! But I sure am bummed that I don't have my fatty boy with me. We're flying Teki's mom out on April 30th to bring him to us and I'm super excited because I miss him all too much and I DON'T and WON'T feel situated and complete until he's here with us. My sister in law has been kind enough to send me a picture of him everday since we've left and I love it. Lala and Tyson keep asking for him too. They miss him as well. =( Lala had asked me "Hey mom! and ours baby comin back or wat?" I had to then explain to her & Tyson for the 211th time that he IS coming back soon. Then she says "Ok..so its tomorrows or night times he's comin back?" Umm..Yeah however her little mind is thinking to ask all these questions, that's how it comes out.

I am on the other hand LOVING our apts out here. We're conveniently located right across the street from a mall! Mind you..the street entrances into PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory are staring at me from our building. So that will most likely be the entrance we'll take going into the mall! lol Totally kidding! That's horrible. But we're also across the street from a grocery store and tons of good restraunts so I won't be too bored this summer.

Ok. The Truth---> I won't be enjoying these places all too much this summer. I have started Isagenix. Which is a really nice way to shed these pounds that I have racked up these past few years! Ugh..What a time to start right?! Uhh..Heck Yeah! These temptations will help me work on self-control even more! My goal is to get back to my size 6 jeans waiting for me in those plastic tupperwares I've stored in the storage for the summer!! It's not going to happen over the summer of course so I'm happy I've started already.

So since there's just way too many things to blog about individually..I decided I would post pictures of the events that happened from the last couple months (horrible) until this month. Well..minus our trip to Zion National Park. I have yet to upload those pictures and a few others. But starting from my mom's 50th birthday party, to Hunter's blessing then my dad's 55th birthday party....leading up to this month is what I've posted!! I'm glad to be back in my blogging world. Gives me a chance to unwind and enjoy what I love to do. I know there's tons of pictures but I gotta catch up on my blogging!!
